StopTyping is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
What we collect
Name and email when you create an account.
Voice audio — captured only when you press your hotkey, processed in real time, and discarded immediately. Never stored.
Anonymised usage metrics (session count, languages used) with no personally identifiable information.
Basic device info (OS version) for support and compatibility.
What we do NOT collect
We do not store voice recordings.
We do not sell your data.
We do not read or monitor text in your apps.
We do not collect dictation content.
Third-party services
StopTyping uses Sarvam AI for speech processing. Audio is transmitted to Sarvam AI servers for transcription only. We do not share account information with any third party.
Data security
All audio transmission is encrypted via TLS. Account data is stored with industry-standard encryption. Audio is not retained after processing.
Your rights
Request deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing hello@stoptyping.in. We will process requests within 30 days.
Children
StopTyping is not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
